Gemstone eggs are popular interior decorations and gifts. Small eggs may be incorporated into jewelry with macramé or wirework. Note the egg's size while ordering.
Natural larvikite, often called grey labradorite. Size: approx. 2x3cm. Sold individually.
Both labradorite and larvikite are fascinating stones! At first, they may seem grey and unremarkable, just to flash with emazing shades of blue, purple or green in another light angle. Labradorite is the more colorful type of plagioclase of the two, it will often display intense blue and green flashes. Larvikite is mostly grey and therefor often called grey labradorite. The closeup shot shows eggs with a distinct labradorization. However, not every egg will display this effect.
Genuine gemstone eggs are seldom perfectly smooth. Small geodes and cracks are not caused by any mechanical damage, they are a natural part of the stone.
Each gemstone egg is unique. The image gives you a good general idea of what the stone looks like, but colors and patterns vary from egg to egg.
