Natural color, not enhanced in any way

 Obsidian's origin is different from the most other natural stones, slowly built by mineral crystals. Obsidian is born in explosions, fire and lava, it is a volcanic glass without any crystal structure.

 This semi-transparent type of obsidian is also called ice obsidian or black lace obsidian. It looks a bit like smoky quartz and displays many cloudy inclutions and ice-like cracks. You may also see some chatonance (cat's-eye - like effect) in some beads.

 Like with all natural gemstones, the exact shades may vary a little from lot to lot and be somewhat different from what the image shows.
