Nylon-coated beading wire, also called Tigertail. Beading wire is built of several thin, twisted steel threads that form a very strong, flexible miniature cable. Tigertail wire is well-suited for stringing stones and sharp-edged beads that could easily damage ordinary threads.
You don't need a needle, but remember: beading wire should be terminated with crimp beads, not knots.
