Montées are rhinestones in sew-on settings. The settings have holes that allow you to sew the crystals onto fabrics, this makes montées very popular in bead embroideries and fashion design. So called rose montées like these are made with flat back crystals. This is the perfect alternative to regular flat backs when you don't want to use glue.
