Rhinestones are easily transformed into easy-to-use sew-on pieces with these claw settings. Place the crystal like the image shows and push down the prongs to hold it in place. The setting has 4 holes, so you can use your rhinestone as a sew-on component or string it together with your beads.
Sold per pkg of 4pcs.
These settings fit 18x13mm big pearshaped rhinestones (Baroque Pear).
Material: gold-plated tombac, additionally sealed with protective anti-tarnish varnish.
Nickel safe and tarnish resistant
Use nylon jaw pliers or a small, flat wooden spatula (ice cream stick) to bend the prongs over the crystal. Regular metal jaw pliers can damage your crystals, especially if you work with surface treated colors like AB or metallic. Don't push too hard, just until the prongs are down and hold the rhinestone in place. Too much pressure can chip your crystal or deform the setting
If you want to use your rhinestone as a sew-on component, you may find it easier to sew the setting onto the foundation first, before you fasten the crystal.
