Genuine Baltic amber with small inclusions, well-polished and undrilled pieces. You will not see anything big and astounding, but something small and mysterious glimmers in each piece: whole or partly preserved insects, bark, leaf particles or some other organic materials. The extra images show each piece in calipers with millimeter scale, please pay attention to the size while ordering. Also please note: these are not cabochons, the back side is not necessarily flat.

Amber is fossilized resin that is at least 20 million years old. It is considered a precious stone, though very different quality grades occur around the world. Russian amber from Kaliningrad is one of the most coveted types of amber. We purchase our amber directly there.

Copal is often sold as amber. Though copal is also a natural material, it is considered a falsification if it is sold as amber. Copal is not old enough and much more brittle than genuine amber.

Thousands of species have been discovered in amber, both plants and insects. Many of them don't exist any more. Who knows what secrets your unique stone hides?
