Approx. 16mm round cabochons, made of natural onyx, dyed to make it completely black.

Natural color, not enhanced in any way

Onyx is a black variety or chalcedony. Some white and semi-transparent banding is common for onyx, but this stone is often dyed to make it completely black. Like all chalcedony types, onyx gets very smooth and shiny after polishing. If you are looking for perfect black cabochons, onyx is the right gemstone for you
