Approx. 5-11mm big, nugget-shaped beads, made of natural black obsidian. Hole size: approx. 0.9-1mm.
Sold per approx. 39cm strand. One such strand contains about 50-60 beads.
Natural color, not enhanced in any way
Obsidian's origin is different from the most other natural stones, slowly built by mineral crystals. Obsidian is born in explosions, fire and lava, it is a volcanic glass without any crystal structure.
Obsidian is mostly opaque black with occasional smoky spots. You may also see the sought-after iridescent optical effect (chatoyance) in some beads.
